What You’ll Do

• Welcome all guests and ensure they are given responsive, professional and gracious service at all times. 
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow team members as situations arise to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. 
• Create magical experiences for guests within the short window of service. 
• Listen well and answer guest inquiries. 
• Maximize sales and ensure the return of the guest. 
• Provide mentorship of new staff members.
• Push yourself to grow your knowledge of food and beverage.
• Participate in all beverage and food educational events provided.
• Perform all side work applicable to assigned stations and checking areas for any work that has gone unattended.
• Prepare simple to advanced cocktails with precision and consistency amounting to the highest standards.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredient combinations, consistently delivering outstanding drinks that reflect the property identity.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills, maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in adherence with health and safety regulations
• Ensure space is prepared for service daily and that all items are well stocked and in date
• Assist beverage manager with monthly beverage inventory counts 
• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Process payment from customers
• Clean glasses and utensils throughout service and at the end of shift.
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Build a rapport with regular customers and members to create a positive atmosphere
• Be educated and act as an expert on all products served by the restaurant.

Education and Experience

• 1+ year experience in full service dining establishments
• 2+ years experience in customer service
• Experience in inventory management, ensuring efficient stock control, minimizing waste, and optimizing cost-effectiveness.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
